Blackboard

Blackboard is a web-based software system used to support flexible teaching and learning. It provides tools and facilities for online course management, content management and sharing, assessment management, and online collaboration and communication.

At Emory, Blackboard is supported and maintained by members of the AAIT Interactive Technologies team. The team also supports and maintains LearnLink, Wimba, and Insight.

The members of the Interactive Technologies team are available to assist with course design and setup. For a one-on-one consultation or online support, email them at classes@emory.edu. Introductory and advanced, customized group, and Just-In-Time (JIT) training sessions are also available. JIT sessions are designed to meet clients where they are by addressing specific (design or system) questions related to the supported technologies.
