Blogs
What is a blog?
A blog (or weblog) is an online journal with entries that are written in chronological order. Most blogs are updated regularly, often daily, providing information that is both timely and relevant. Blog entries can be any combination of text, images, video or other data.
Blog entries can be submitted by one person as a personal diary, providing a narrative of the author's life or a specific topic. Often, however, blogs involve a collaborative effort on the part of a community of users.
Blogger.com is one of the most well-known blogging websites.
At Emory you can create a blog for your course in Blackboard. Emory's Center for Interactive Teaching provides consultation, training, and technical resources to help you get started with a blog for your class.
