Emory's Center for Interactive Teaching
Overview
Emory's Center for Interactive Teaching (ECIT) is located in the center of Emory's main campus in the Woodruff Library. ECIT partners with faculty, staff and students, providing expertise, training and support for creating technology-enhanced materials. Additionally, ECIT supports student training for the completion of digital media assignments. The Center's resources are available to all members of the Emory University community.

Monday - Friday: 9:00am -5:00pm
Programs
Throughout the year, ECIT hosts a series of informative discussions, presentations and workshops teaching faculty and researchers how to incorporate instructional technologies into their work. Program subjects cover a variety of topics, ranging from "the appropriate use of technology in teaching" to "how to create and edit digital video." All ECIT programs are designed to build Emory's digital literacy.
ECIT also participates in University Technology Service's
(UTS) EduCATE (an Educational
Conference on Academic Technology at Emory) Emory faculty and graduate
students are invited to attend seminars, workshops and sessions hosted by
ECIT.
Facilities
ECIT facilities include three "Smart" classrooms and a consultation space called the Teaching Theatre. Other amenities include computer workstations, projection systems, videoconferencing, interactive displays and re-configurable furniture. Teaching spaces are designed to support technology-enhanced interactive collaborative learning. Our staff are always on-hand to assist instructors.
