Classroom Reservations (faculty and graduate student instructors)

ECIT has four classrooms reserved for faculty and graduate students who utilize technology in their instruction. These classrooms are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Workshops and Seminars

Visit the events web page to view and register for events.

Sessions include: "Lunch and Learn"- a faculty-led discussion on best practices for using instructional technology; "Digital Literacy" - hands-on instruction on Center supported software and applications; and Blackboard classes for basic hands-on instruction.

Summer Programs for Faculty and Graduate Student Development

ECIT hosts several summer workshops and seminars. These programs are tailored to faculty and graduate students within particular disciplines. Programs, such as Emory College Online and Candler School of Theology Online, occur over various time during the summer. Participants are selected from applications, and are required to have a working content component at the end of the program.

Additional programs hosted by ECIT include a specialized session created for fifth-year post-doctorial Biology students as part of Emory's FIRST program. Summer sessions have also been created to highlight learning methodologies like problem-based and project-based learning.

Emory schools or departments may contact ECIT to discuss other program ideas.
