Dr. Kristen Brustad, Associate Professor in the department of Middle Eastern and South Asian Studies at Emory University, will lead a discussion on reading comprehension. She is a co-author of Al-Kitaab, the most widely used textbook for beginning to intermediate Arabic instruction in U.S. colleges and institutions, and is a featured presenter in many training seminars and workshops for Middle East language teachers.
